About KiaVania Wells

Born in Galveston, Texas, and raised in the surrounding area, KiaVania developed an early appreciation for architecture that started in high school for creative spaces that tell a story and reflect the people who inhabit them. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Prairie View A&M University, where she also served as the Fundraising Chair for Pretty Ladies Unique Shapes (P.L.U.S.), she also sat on the Social Board for the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), and was an active member of Women in Architecture.

Kia is currently continuing her education in Interior Design, and expanding her perspective on how people interact with their environments and learning to merge technical learnings with creative expression. Her passion lies in residential design particularly in creating homes that showcase thoughtful storytelling and functional beauty that reflects how each family lives day to day.

During her time away from Architecture, Kia enjoys trail riding, zydeco dancing, and spending time with family. She also loves hands-on creativity whether that 's decorating, designing, or bringing new DIY projects to life around her home.
